LOCATIONS
Dr. Richard Pucci is a nationally recognized Center of Excellence Bariatric Surgeon by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.  He completed his specialized fellowship training in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive surgery from The Medical College of Virginia. While there he was a Clinical Instructor in Surgery and a fellow in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Richard Pucci was a Chief Resident at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.  He completed his surgical internship at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Allentown, Pa and received his medical degree from Des Moines University.   

Dr. Richard Pucci trained at a program with over 20 years of experience in the field of minimally invasive and bariatric surgery.  His mentors include Dr. Eric DeMaria and Dr. John Kellum both of whom are world known experts in Bariatric Surgery with a program of over 15 years experience and more than 7,500 bariatric procedures. 

His research experience has been presented nationally at the American Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and The Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons meetings.  Some of his research includes: long term resolution of co-morbidities following gastric bypass and the short and longterm weight loss comparisons between the laparoscopic gastric bypass and the lap band.
